Hey guys, used to have minecraft downloaded when i was on windows 10 Everything worked fine for approximately 30 minutes, with crashing issues before and afterward. Got my pc upgraded a bit and the guy put me onto windows 11

Now whenever i downloaded the minecraft launcher it just says “windows is updating” and sits on that screen for hours My pc is perfectly capable of handling modded minecraft, and originally i had 8gb dedicated to the packs, but after reinstalling cureforge i kept changing it to see if it worked Nothing is happening and really not sure where to go from here

There is any safe cracked minecraft launcher I was searching for some launcher to play minecraft (with mods) there is any good options that dont have virus I've searched about tlauncher,sklauncher,gdlauncher,legacy launcher and all of those looks suspicious. When you still need help, make sure to have the latest.log or the debug.log for minecraft applied, as error/exit codes are useless If you are having issues with corruption or missing files repair minecraft installation will fix it most likely Getting the latest or debug log It really just gets so annoying

So is there some way to open java minecraft without the launcher similar to opening bedrock minecraft or am i doomed to suffering through the launcher

Even after closing the launcher and opening it again, it worked without any problem for me. P.s if you want to get the old launcher back until a solution is found for the new one you can goto the minecraft website and download the windows 7/8 version (even if you are using windows 10 or 11) Installing that will get you the old launcher back. To answer the second question (does the launcher have to come from the ms store?), no, it doesn't, you can just use the older windows 7/8 version.

Regular minecraft launches just fine (1.19.1) i am trying to launch packs such as skyfactory, stoneblock, atm, etc
